The Special Refurb by Fendt: what would be on your wish list?

Imagine writing a list of all the upgrades you’d love to see on your machine – then passing that to a group of skilled Fendt technicians to deliver for you. That’s exactly what our #VINtoWin competition winner, Alexis Neveu from France, has been able to do as part of his Special Refurb prize.
The winning Fendt 720 Vario made its way to a workshop in Germany where it’s been cleaned, stripped down and upgraded. Under all the dirt they found this hard-working machine still functioned almost faultlessly. So, after complete diagnostics they were able to crack on with Alexis’s list.
Visibility and safety upgrade
Broken mirrors are now replaced, and the Special Refurb team have fitted a reversing camera to the Fendt 720 Vario. Our winner will now have all-round visibility from a screen on his armrest. The team have also given Alexis a clear view of his fields by removing the halogen lights from his tractor and replacing them with new bright LED lights with a higher luminosity. He’ll now see better at night and in poor weather conditions.
AGCO Parts plus AGCO Reman
When the team found a minor defect in the winning machine’s starter motor, they decided to take advantage of the sustainable AGCO Reman option. The Fendt team are benefiting from the swift Epsilon parts-ordering system. Evening orders have been delivered to them by 8am the next day.
AGCO Reman provides used parts that have been remanufactured to original standards. It’s a cost-effective way to replace parts and is particularly useful for older machines. Around 6000 parts can be sourced through AGCO Reman and all are covered by a 12-month warranty – just like a new part. Watch the video to see how they did it.
