It’s just like buying any other part. Your dealer will organise the Reman part or assembly for you and fit it swiftly to protect your uptime. No hanging around, you’ll get an already remanufactured part. It’s that simple.
So, what happens to your old part? Well, that goes through an incredibly detailed process before it becomes an AGCO Reman part for somebody else’s machine.
7 stages of the AGCO Reman process
Part collected
The old core from your machine will be collected from your dealer and transported directly to an OEM Reman facility. AGCO has specialist reman facilities including Jundiai in Brazil and Suolahti in Finland.
Taken apart
At the factory, the old core is stripped down into its components. Any broken parts will be disposed of.
Cleaned down
To avoid dirt particles entering the testing station or inside the unit, the old part undergoes a cleaning phase.
Thoroughly inspected
Individual components are inspected and measured against the OEM’s specification. Any parts outside the tolerance are discarded.
Worn parts replaced
Bearings, seals and other wear parts are replaced as well as any that fall outside the tolerance.
Reassembly
All components are then expertly fitted back together.
Testing
The whole unit undergoes a thorough test, ensuring its performance reliability.
